Hair of the Cat...Wildcat! Ride on 2/6/10 at 9:30am
What: A ride through Wildcat Canyon, OJH and SY. I picked Saturday instead of Sunday for the Football fans that wanna watch the Superbowl.
The Mood: Mediumish pace. Whatever pace you're comfortable and safe with is good. Don't feel like you're rushed. I'd rather wait for you than an ambulance. ![]() Where: Meeting up at the Fairmount Starbucks. CLICK HERE FOR MAP. When: Meetup at 9:30 for coffee kick stands up at 10:00. Please arrive fueled up at the starbucks There's a gas station next to it.Tentative Route: 8>67>Wildcat>OJH>SY(BREAK)>Mesa Grande>76>Palomar(?)>Break>Backtrack or head home. If someone wants to make the route a little longer at this point, I'm game. The route is a bit flexible. I'm up for suggestions. If you guys don't like certain parts of the routes post up any ideas. I'm really tentative on routes. Here's the tentative ride map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,1.234589&z=10 Some bail out points would be at Ramona (D), Santa Ysabel (F), Hwy 76(H) This ride, like most all Hypercycle rides, is open to anyone who wishes to join. We put safety at the forefront of our rides and all ride participants are expected to do the same. If you are new please don't hesitate to come out on the ride. Hope to see some new faces there! I'm bringing some friends from a group I ride with. Don't worry they're mellow.

I may have to break off the ride early. I am working at the "Q" for the Supercross event so I may be in for this one.

Hmmm, just getting over a cold. I think I'll have to sit this one out looking at the weather. Be careful out there.

I think I might have to call this one off. The roads are probably gonna still be wet and runoff is probably gonna be all over the place. I'll repost tomorrow morning to tell you for sure.

So I'm calling this one off. I'm still planning on doing a short Superbowl ride out the 94. I'm keeping it short so I can zoom back home and watch some football. If anyone's interested post up and I'll give you details. Actually I'll just edit the top post.
Details: What: A ride out along the 94. I'm making it a short one to give you enough time to get home and get ready to watch the Superbowl. I know I am. The Mood: Medium or, fast pace when you want to. Whatever pace you're comfortable and safe with, is good. Don't feel like you're rushed! I'd rather wait for you than an ambulance. ![]() Where: Meeting up at Otay Lakes Mobil. When: Meetup at 9:00 for KSU at 9:30. Please arrive fueled up at the gas station . Tentative Route: Mobil>Otay Lakes Rd>94>Barret Junction>Cameron Corners(BREAK)>BackTrack to Honey Springs Rd>Lyons Valley>Japatul Rd>Tavern Rd>Lunch in Alpine>Break away point at I-8. The lunch stop has a Sushi/Chinese/BBQ places. I've been wanting to try the BBQ place but I may go to Sushi. Here's the tentative ride map: http://maps.google.co... Some bail out points (although I don't know why you would need them for such a short ride) would be the first 94 appearance (B), Buckman Springs(C), Otay Lakes Intersection (after backtracking), Skyline Truck Trails (D). If you ever need to break off and bail I will make sure you have a straight shot home so you don't get lost. This ride, like most all Hypercycle rides, is open to anyone who wishes to join. We put safety at the forefront of our rides and all ride participants are expected to do the same.
