Does Hypercycles need a Site/Forum Re-Design?
Be honest... has the current design gotten stale for you? Do you need a fresh new look?
or.... Does change scare you? Would you like everything to stay exactly the same way it is... ? Let me know what you think either way =)

I think there should be more bikes in the background of the home page as well as the rest of the forum pages. I can hardly tell this is a bike club.

A consistently updated front page is necessary. When you first visit a site and see "news" that is 11 months old you may move on to the next site. This is no doubt the result of lackluster participation in the club in general, but things are looking up. Front page suggestions: Perhaps have it featuring upcoming rides/track days/ news. This gives the club a lively appearance. I think if something has been up there more than 4 weeks, it ain't news. Random photos of Hypercyclers doing what we do would be nice as well. I also think, i fit not too much work  , that the Hypercycles Mission Statement (http://www.hypercycles.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=12119) should be on the front page at the top. This statement is what compelled me to sign up back around this time in 2003. I think it sums up what we are all about and having that front and center is a good thing. And just a general suggestion - More smileys! They make it fun!

The permissions for the 'bottom' forums need to be tweaked for sure.. I'll have some time this weekend for forum updates and my notes from the pho meeting.. life has been hectic.
