Trackday Beginner April Streets

I've been talking to a lot of my friends that have never been to a trackday. I'm thinking about taking them out and seeing if any of you guys want to come along:

Who: you + other riders you know
What: a trackday
Where: Streets of Willow
When: April 18th
Why: to finally get out on a track if you've never been before!

I'm looking at TrackDaz. It's $120 to enter.

True, this is a bit too early to be posting for an April event; I just wasn't sure when the hypercycles trackday was happening. So, I'll be sure to bump this post ever month until April gets closer. Keep this on the back of you head

I also saw that post about motoyard hosting a trackday at Streets in Feb. I think I'll also check out that one too; it's just that it came up a bit too short noticed. Anyway, still green for April.

Yeah I can't do the Feb Track Day as I'm traveling that weekend to Utah. The April one is for sure though. Should I wait to buy the track day?

I may be in for this one. I just paid for Fontucky for Mar 20th. I may be able to swing April too maybe a carpool. South Bay Motorsports (I think) Is doing streets for 100 bucks on May 8th.

was that on the 250? need a btter video! good to hear your ok though man. how did your bike fare?

yea, that was with the good ol' 250. Somehow that thing came out of it perfect. Just a broken brake lever and my exhaust popped out the mount. The frame sliders really did the job. I don't think I even scratched my plastics that much!

Glad you are ok! What happened there, looked kinda nasty. Were you getting off the track or did you tuck the front going into the right hander?

I've never seen anyone go down at that turn so I never really worried about it.

All I remember is taking that turn like I normally do (of course trying to always go faster) and then all of a sudden I was on the ground rolling, heheh. Not sure what happened, next time I'll try to bring my own camera.

Yeah I had a blast out there. Can't wait to do it again. Sucks what happened. Maybe you just touched that painted line or something barely? Or hit dirt? All that matters is you came out decently unscathed.
